More than just a training space, eKhaya is a launchpad for emerging filmmakers, offering access to world-class diving, cinematography, and science communication skills — all rooted in African narratives and perspectives.

By empowering local talent and creating a pipeline of skilled, conscious storytellers, eKhaya is playing a vital role in shaping the future of the film industry in KwaZulu-Natal — especially in natural history, conservation and documentary storytelling.
